KATHMANDU, June 16: The price of gold has escalated by Rs 800 per tola in the domestic market today.
Fine gold is being traded at Rs 111,800 per tola on Friday. It was sold at Rs 111,000 per tola on Thursday according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.

Similarly, the price of standard gold has been set at Rs 111,250 per tola today which was sold at Rs 110,450 per tola yesterday.
There has also been an increase in the price of silver. The price of silver has rose by Rs 20 per tola to become Rs 1,425 per tola today. It was traded at Rs 1,405 per tola on Thursday.
