Gold holds firm as silver slips in domestic market

The federation said fine gold continued to trade at Tuesday’s rate of Rs 311,300 per tola.

KATHMANDU, June 3: Gold prices remained steady in the domestic market on Wednesday, while silver edged lower, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA).

The FENEGOSIDA said fine gold continued to trade at Tuesday’s rate of Rs 311,300 per tola. 


Silver, however, lost Rs 35 per tola. After being traded at Rs 5,405 per tola on Tuesday, the precious metal was fixed at Rs 5,370 per tola on Wednesday.
