KATHMANDU, Dec 3: Global IME Bank has opened three branchless banking outlets in far western development region. Issuing a press release, the bank said that it opened the outlets in partnership with Sakchyam Access to Finance Programme.

According to the release, the bank has opened branchless banking outlets at Deulekh VDC Ward No. 3, Khochlekh of Baitadi district, and Alitaal VDC Ward No. 5, Godam and Mastamandu VDC Ward No. 6, Sakayal of Dadeldhura district in order to provide banking service to rural areas of far western development region.
"The bank has appointed local resident Harish Karki, Tej Raj Bhatta and Suresh Shahi as the business representatives for Deulekh, Alitaal and Mastamandu, respectively," the release added.
