BHOJPUR, March 3: Five houses were reduced to ashes after a gale-fueled fire broke out at Dandakharka in Bhojpur Municipality -2.
The fire started at 1 pm at the house of Kumar Shrestha before it spread to the houses of Jit Kumar Shrestha, Parshuram Shrestha, Makal Shrestha and Khakumar Shrestha.

The fire destroyed grains, clothes, cash and valuables, said Kumar Shrestha, a fire victim.
The fire had started when the family members were away in the field.
The fire was brought under control by the security personnel backed by locals within three hours.
The property destroyed in the fire is yet to be estimated.
