FWEAN to host International Conclave on Women Leadership on July 11

The Federation of Woman Entrepreneurs' Associations of Nepal (FWEAN) is set to host the International Conclave on Women Leadership in Lalitpur next month.

KATHMANDU, June 24: The Federation of Woman Entrepreneurs' Associations of Nepal (FWEAN) is set to host the International Conclave on Women Leadership in Lalitpur next month.


The conclave to be held on July 11 at Heritage Garden, Sanepa, will bring together prominent delegates and leaders from India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, the Maldives and the UAE Embassy to promote dialogue, collaboration and empowerment in the field of women’s leadership and entrepreneurship across the globe.


In the lead-up to the event, FWEAN President Shova Gyawali paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, to formally invite him as the Chief Guest. Prime Minister Oli has accepted the invitation and confirmed his attendance at the conclave.

FWEAN President Gyawali expressed her gratitude for the Prime Minister’s support. She said that FWEAN looks forward to a successful and inspiring gathering that will strengthen the movement for women’s leadership both regionally and internationally.


President Gyawali also met with Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, Chen Song, on Tuesday. Ambassador Chen assured that he would take initiative to bring delegates and panelist from China for the event.


FWEAN Executive Director Abhilasha Poudel also accompanied President Gyawali during the meetings.


Speakers from Pakistan, United Arab Emirates, India, Sri Lanka, Maldives and Bangladesh have already confirmed their participation in the event, according to President Gyawali.
