Fuel supply eases at petrol pumps: NOC

The shortage at petrol pumps occurred due to transportation difficulties caused by landslides blocking the road.

KATHMANDU, Sept 27: The supply of petroleum products has returned to normalcy, according to the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC), following disruptions on the Muglin–Narayanghat road that had caused fuel shortages in the Kathmandu Valley and along the Prithvi Highway.



The shortage at petrol pumps occurred due to transportation difficulties caused by landslides blocking the road.

Dr. Chandika Prasad Bhatta, Managing Director of NOC, confirmed that the shortage of petroleum products along the Prithvi Highway has now been resolved.


“We want to inform all concerned stakeholders that there is no longer any shortage of petroleum products at petrol pumps along the highway,” said Manoj Thakur, spokesperson for NOC.
