After winning the toss, Nepal batted first and scored 56 runs after playing 18 overs out of the scheduled overs. Chasing a target of 57 runs in the match at the Hong Kong Cricket Club, Hong Kong completed the target with the loss of 1 wicket by playing only 9 overs out of the scheduled 20 overs.
