Those arrested on Wednesday include Kanhaiya Lal Chaudhary of Damak-11, Ananda Kumar Mandal of Damak-13, Ganga Thakur of Damak-11 and Dipak Singh of Damak-10.[break]
The goods were recovered from the rented quarters of Ganga Thakur, who runs a barber shop in Damak.
The accused were presented before the press at the Zonal Police Office, Bhadrapur today.
A home-made pistol, three detonators, a kilogram of white gunpowder, two watches, batteries, five sets of mobile phones, receipt and letter pad of the party were recovered during a search carried out following a bomb blast at Damak-12 on Tuesday night.
According to police, the accused have also accepted responsibility for the bomb blasts carried out earlier at the Land Tax Office premises and the Lekhnath Market complex.
One of the accused—Deepak Singh is said to have learnt bomb-making skills from a man called Yadav in Farbisgunj of Bihar, India.
