KATHMANDU, Oct. 7: Former Chairman of Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS) Ganesh Ballav Pradhan has passed away last night. He was 83.

Suffering from respiratory diseases, the former RSS Chairman Pradhan breathed his last while receiving treatment at Blue Cross Nursing Home in the capital city, Pradhan's son Shirish Ballav confirmed.
The senior journalist is survived by his spouse, a son and two daughters.
A family source said the last rites of Pradhan would be performed at Pashupati Aryaghat today itself.(RSS)
