Forest fire spreads to Shivapuri-Nagarjun near capital

SUNDARIJAl, April 7: Fire sparked from behind the old building of the Bokhreni Secondary School at Sundarijal VDC-9 has reached up to the Shivapuri -Nagarjun National Park.



According to Sub-Inspector of the Metropolitan Police Sector, Sundarijal, Lila Raj Shrestha, the fire started from 10:45 am this morning could not be controlled yet as fire engine could not reach the place.[break]



Locals and army personnel are trying to bring the fire under control.Police said that no human casualty has been reported in the incident.

Cause behind the fire has not been ascertained yet.
