However, many places in the Terai region remain covered under fog, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.
Weather Alert: Fog in Terai, partial overcast in Valley
The department forecasts that Friday afternoon, the hilly areas of Koshi Province will see partial cloud cover, while the rest of the country will have clear skies.
Similarly, tonight, the hilly regions of Koshi and Karnali provinces will experience partial cloud cover, while the rest of the country will remain clear.
The department has warned that dense fog is likely to occur in many parts of the Terai on Saturday morning, which could impact daily life, agriculture, health, transportation, and aviation. Authorities have urged everyone to take necessary precautions.
