KATHMANDU, Feb 7: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM) has stated that the country is currently experiencing a minor influence of the westerly wind.
There is partial cloud cover in Sudurpaschim and Karnali provinces, while the rest of the country has clear weather. Additionally, some areas of the Terai are experiencing fog.
Weather today to remain generally clear
According to the department, the weather this afternoon will remain partially cloudy in the hilly areas of Koshi, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, while other regions will have clear skies.
Similarly, tonight, the weather will be partially cloudy in the hilly areas of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, while the rest of the country will experience clear weather.
The DHM has also warned that fog is likely in the Terai region on Saturday morning, which could impact daily life, health, road transportation, and aviation. Authorities and the public have been advised to take necessary precautions.
