KATHMANDU, April 23: Foreign Minister Dr Arjun Rana Deuba expressed that the Government of Nepal is shocked and saddened by the heinous terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.
Through social media platform X, she conveyed her sorrow and strongly condemned the senseless violence that took innocent lives. She also extended heartfelt sympathy to the victims and their families during this difficult time. Additionally, she wished for the swift and full recovery of the injured.

She wrote on X, "The Government of Nepal stands firmly with the Government of India and its people in this moment of sorrow."
Foreign Minister Dr. Deuba also stated that authorities are working to confirm reports of a Nepali citizen's death in the tragic incident and assured that they would provide updates once the details are confirmed.
The attack, which took place on Tuesday afternoon, killed 28 people, including one Nepali, and injured more than a dozen others.
