Traffic on both sides has come to a halt after the river overflowed and swept away the diversion. Small vehicles are being rerouted through an alternative road via the Hongshi Cement gate and Sardi. However, cargo and large vehicles are currently lined up and halted on both sides, police said.

Authorities stated that vehicle movement will only resume after water levels recede and an inspection of the damaged diversion is conducted.
