Five nabbed with arms

JANAKPUR, June 3: Police have arrested four individuals on the charge of possessing illegal arms in Janakpur on Wednesday. Police seized a Belgium-made pistol from the group. The arrested are Sailendra Yadav, Umesh Yadav, Indresh Yadav and Ramkisun Yadav, the police said.



In a separate incident, the police arrested Sambhunath Mahato from Aurahi-4, Dhanusa, on the charge of extortion. He was arrested while extorting Rs 50,000 from a local, the police said.
