KATHMANDU, June 22: Police have nabbed five people with 199 kilograms hashish from Prithvi Highway and Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).
According to police, they recovered 197 kilograms hashish from an Indian vehicle bearing registration number UP 77 T 4813 at Bareni of Dhading district along the Prithvi Highway on Monday. Rs 87,300 and IRs 8,000 was also confiscated from three people.

Likewise, two others were held from TIA with two kilograms hashish on Sunday.
The arrestees are Swiss national Bet Parlor, 62 holding passport number X 4754774 and his so called wife Kalpana Ghimire, 42, of Lekhnath-1 in Kaski district.
The couple preparing to leave for Switzerland through Doha was nabbed during security check on Friday, police added.
