Filmykhabar has announced the introduction of ‘Sabin Shakya Cine-Journalism Award’ in recognition of the late Sabin Shakya’s contribution in the field of journalism. Shakya was a veteran cine-journalist with an experience of 25 years.

According to the press statement issued by Filmykhabar on Sunday, the award is set to be handed out to cine-journalists every year, where the honoree will be awarded a cash prize of Rs 10,000 along with a certificate. The award was introduced to commemorate the first death anniversary of Shakya.
