Far West University office opens

KANCHANPUR, Jan 29: The central office of the Far-western University has been opened at Bhimduttanagar on Saturday.



The office was inaugurated by Registrar of the university, Dr. Hemraj Panta coinciding with the Sripanchami Festival, the festival dedicated to the goddess of the arts and learning.[break]



In his inaugural address, Registrar Dr. Panta said the works of the university would be conducted from the central office until the university building was ready.



Chairman of the Far-west University Struggle Committee, Ganga Dutta Joshi, chairman of the Sidhhanath Multiple Campus Management Committee, Lila Dhwaj Basnet, Campus Chief Yagya Raj Bhatta and the Chief of the Siddhanath Science Campus Dr. Bhawani Chand Thakuri extended their best wishes for the success of the Far-west University which has been established after a long struggle.



They stressed that the university should churn out the intellectuals and disciplined citizens and serve the Far-west region as an excellence of learning.
