Family delays final rites of dead member to take part in local polls

GAUSHALA, Sept 19: A family from Jaleshwor municipality – 6 of Mahottari district delayed the final rites of a dead member to cast their votes in the third phase of local polls held on Monday.

GAUSHALA, Sept 19: A family from Jaleshwor municipality – 6 of Mahottari district delayed the final rites of a dead member to cast their votes in the third phase of local polls held on Monday. 



Naresh Mahara and 12 members of his family delayed the final rites of their dead mother, according to local villager, Ganesh Sah. 



49 – year – old Geno Devi died in the morning after which the family members decided on first taking part in the elections being held after a hiatus of 20 years. 



The family members lined up whole day at the National Primary School at Dhabauli area where voting centre was set up to cast their votes.
