Ex-minister Pun flown to Thailand for further treatment

KATHMANDU, Dec 7: UCPN (Maoist) secretary and former finance minister Barshaman Pun was taken to Thailand for further treatment on Monday.

Earlier, Pun was treated at Medanta Hospital in Gurgaon, India, after suffering from jaundice and liver-related diseases.

UCPN (Maoist) Spokesperson Dinanath Sharma said that Pun was taken to Samitivej Hospital in Thailand for further treatment though some improvements were reported following the treatment in Medanta Hospital. RSS
