Euros worth over Rs 21m seized at TIA

KATHMANDU, Oct 26: A large amount of foreign currency that a man was trying to smuggle out of the country has been seized at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, on Friday.



Airport authorities confiscated 1,95,000 euros, worth more than Rs 21million, from a man identified as Dawa Sherpa. It is said Sherpa was trying to smuggle the currency to India on a Spice Jet flight.
