Eleven SPs recommended for promotion to SSPs

Home Ministry has recommended the promotion of 11 Superintendents of Police (SP) to the rank of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP).

KATHMANDU, July 21: The Ministry of Home Affairs has recommended the promotion of 11 Superintendents of Police (SP) to the rank of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP).



The decision was made during a meeting of the Promotion Committee Secretariat held on Monday, which endorsed the promotion of 11 SPs to SSP.

Those recommended for promotion include Tul Bahadur Karki, Rakesh Singh, Kamal Thapa, Dayanidhi Gyawali, Deepak Pokharel, Praveen Dhital, Rajiv Basnet, Dipendra Shahi, Prakash Ranabhat, Kedar Khanal and Gyanendra Prasad Phuyal.


According to Deputy Inspector General of Police Dan Bahadur Karki, who serves as the Member-Secretary of the Promotion Committee, the recommendations were made in accordance with sub-rule (4) of Rule 27 of the Police Regulations, 2071 BS.
