KATHMANDU, Jan 2: Police have recommended five Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs) for promotion to the rank of Deputy Inspector General (DIG).
On Thursday, the Promotion Recommendation Committee under the Ministry of Home Affairs made public the list of SSPs recommended for promotion.
Six APF SSPs recommended for promotion to DIG
According to the list, SSPs Ishwor Karki, Rajendra Prasad Bhatta, Dinesh Kumar Acharya, Arun Poudel and Govinda Thapaliya have been recommended for promotion.
SSP Karki is working at the Research, Planning and Development Office of the Police Headquarters. SSP Bhatta is working at the Karnali Province Police Training Center, Surkhet; SSP Acharya at the Narcotics Control Bureau; SSP Poudel at the Police Department of the CIAA and SSP Thapaliya at the Human Resource Development Department, Career Development Division of the Headquarters.
