PM calls all-party meeting for today

The government has been holding continuous consultations with stakeholders ahead of the polls.

KATHMANDU, Dec 5: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has called an all-party meeting for Friday to discuss the upcoming House of Representatives election scheduled for March 5, the Prime Minister’s Secretariat said. The meeting is set for 4 PM.

PM Karki has also invited Gen-Z representatives, security agencies, the Election Commission (EC), and other election-related bodies. The government has been holding continuous consultations with stakeholders ahead of the polls.


The EC has already released the election schedule. Major parties—including the Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, Nepali Communist Party, and Rastriya Swatantra Party—along with fringe and Madhesh-based parties, have intensified election-focused activities.
