KATHMANDU, Aug 30: Educational institutions in Kathmandu valley will remain closed on August 30, Thursday and August 31, Friday.

A meeting held in the Defense Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs declared the closure of schools and colleges in Kathmandu due to the fourth summit of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC).
