KATHMANDU, Nov 14: The Election Commission (EC) has called on political parties to register for the upcoming elections to the House of Representatives (HoR) and the National Assembly.
Issuing separate notices on Friday, the EC urged political parties to register for both elections. The HoR election has been scheduled for March 5, while the National Assembly election will be held on January 25.

The EC has called for party registration for the HoR election from November 17 to 26, and for the National Assembly election from November 17 to 23.
It has also instructed parties to submit all required documents — including party details and the date of the party’s initial registration at the commission — when filing their applications.
