Driver killed in Jajarkot ambulance accident

The accident occurred around 1 AM near Kalle Khola in Kolchaur, Bheri Municipality-1. Police said the ambulance, heading from Rawat village in Bheri Municipality-1 to Maide to pick up a patient, crashed when it hit a wall while going uphill and fell about 100 meters off the road.

SURKHET, Aug 11: An ambulance accident in Jajarkot claimed the life of the driver in Jajarkot early Monday.



The accident occurred around 1 AM near Kalle Khola in Kolchaur, Bheri Municipality-1. Police said the ambulance, heading from Rawat village in Bheri Municipality-1 to Maide to pick up a patient, crashed when it hit a wall while going uphill and fell about 100 meters off the road.

The driver, identified as 27-year-old Sunil Chadara of Daunikanda, Bheri Municipality-1, died on the spot, according to Police Inspector Hariram Dangi.


Locals noticed the accident in the morning while cutting grass and informed the police.
