DPM Singh urges all to join relief and resettlement campaigns

KATHMANDU, May 23: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Local Development Prakash Man Singh has urged one and all to join hands in relief and resettlement activities.

At an interaction organized at Sankhu of Kathmandu district Saturday, DPM Singh said all should generously extend support to the needy ones at this disaster.


He further said the government has provided relief items as much as it could and without being biased.

Minister Singh assured that he would initiate for developing Sankhu Municipality as the model municipality. Even a plan was devised for this before the earthquake, he added.

On the occasion, locals urged the DPM Singh to launch a reconstruction project immediately and provide the relief in cash for to buy corrugated zinc sheets as per the government decision. RSS
