Don 'Chari' attacks own party member

KATHMANDU, Aug 28: Notorious don Dinesh Adhikari ´Chari´, who is the UML vice-chairman of Dhading constituency 1, attacked Ganesh Shrestha, Nuwakot chairman of UML-affiliated Youth Force, at 10 am Sunday, near Prabhu Finance located in Lainchaur.



Shrestha said he managed to escape. A few days ago, the two found themselves in a dispute over a tender in Dhading.



Sunday´s attack was a result of the dispute. Shrestha reached Metropolitan Police Range, Hanumandhoka, seeking security.



Shrestha, who is also Nuwakot district member of UML, is a contractor.
