According to Prem Prasad Paudel, director of DoCSM , the filling plant of the company was sealed as it did not have the license and the laboratory which is mandatory for the water company to operate. [break]
“The monitoring team has asked the proprietor of the company to present themselves at the department within 7 days and provide clarification on why it was operating without the food production license and a laboratory to test the quality of water.
The team also monitored Bhuju Ram Shrestha Ko Kapada Pasal at Bhrikutimandap as the complaint was filed at the department by the locals about the store selling low quality cloth.
“The team studied the case and listened to both the shopkeeper and buyer and in the mutual understanding of both the shopkeeper and buyer, the shopkeeper was requested to pay back Rs 680 as the compensation to the buyer,” said Paudel.
