Actor Sitaram Kattel aka Dhurmus, who is also the chairperson of the foundation, expressed his happiness at being able to felicitate the much deserving sports team of the nation. "They have made us all proud. I'm grateful to have this opportunity to give them back something," he said, adding that the felicitation program wouldn't have materialized without the financial support of the Nepali community living in Tampere, Finland.The foundation's treasurer Kunjana Ghimire aka Suntali thanked the players for giving Nepalis all over the world a reason to rejoice in these 'tough times.' "They have once again proved that sports play a vital role in bringing people together, irrespective of their backgrounds," she added.
Two players—Nawayug Shrestha, and goalie Bikesh Kuthu—attended the felicitation program and accepted the honor on behalf of the team. They expressed their gratefulness on being felicitated by the much loved actors.
