In a discussion held with three groups of Gen-Z protesters, families of martyrs and the injured on Friday, she shared that an agreement with Gen-Z on the matter has reached the final stage.
“A conclusion will be reached after consulting the President regarding their demands,” Prime Minister Karki said, “The government shall not compromise on the demands of families of Gen-Z protesters and martyrs, and be assured your demands will be fulfilled.”
During the discussion held at Singha Durbar, all three groups seriously raised the issue of the need to immediately sign an agreement between the government and the protesters, not to delay action against the oppressors, and to control the oppressors as they are trying to carry out a counter-revolution.
On the occasion, Prime Minister Karki urged the representatives of these groups to understand that the government must also take into account its constitutional and legal limitations on certain issues.
She also advised them to make necessary preparations to participate in the elections and to lead radical change through peaceful means, including by obtaining a mandate for the same.
