KATHMANDU, Oct 15: Most people across the country are continuing to receive tika from their relatives and seniors on the 13th day of Bada Dashain today.
The tradition of receiving Prasad from elders on Bijaya Dashami will continue until Kojagrat Purnima (Thursday).

It is customary to receive tika from elders at home and to visit distant relatives to receive Tika from them as well.
In some places, there is a tradition of applying Tika only on the day of Bijaya Dashami. The process of receiving Tika will conclude after the immersion of Jamara on Ashwin Shukla Purnima, also known as Kojagrat Purnima.
With offices reopening today, most of those who traveled to their villages from Kathmandu have returned.
