KATHMANDU, Nov 18: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Tuesday increased by 15.70 points to close at 2,566.07 points.
The secondary market opened at 2,550.36 points and escalated to the day’s high at 2,579.12 points in the first 50 minutes. In the next moment, the index went down gradually to reach Rs 2,563.4 points, while the market recovered around three points in the remaining period before it closed for the day.

All the 13 groups were the gainers. Non-life insurance added the largest of 89.19 points in its market value. The heavyweight banking index also rose 4.15 points.
The sensitive index, which measures the performance of ‘A’ class companies, rose 2.65 points. The daily turnover increased to Rs 4.10 billion from Rs 3.94 billion.
Among the individual companies, 207 were gainers while 44 were recorded as losers. Sahas Urja Limited had the largest turnover of Rs 229.16 million.
Two companies, including Sagar Distillery Limited and Mabilung Energy Limited, were the topmost gainers of 10 percent. Everest Bank Limited Debenture 2091 witnessed the highest fall of 3.54 percent of its market price.
