Daily lives of Nepalis affected from shortage of essential materials: Japan

KATHMANDU, Nov. 18: The Embassy of Japan in Kathmandu has expressed deep concern to the present shortage of essential materials, especially fuel and petroleum products in Nepal adding that it is increasingly impacting on the daily lives of the people.

Issuing a press release today, the Embassy of Japan said that the fuel shortage is also preventing post-earthquake relief community including their humanitarian activities toward the affected areas.
“We sincerely hope that the current difficult situation in Nepal to be resolved peacefully and in a way to foster cooperation, as well as mutual trust and understanding among all the parties concerned,” said the Japanese Embassy.

Japan has also assured its continued support to Nepal’s reconstruction efforts to ‘Build Back Better’ from the earthquake disaster. RSS
