BAGMATI, Sept 21: A cyclist died in a road accident that took place near the Gorakseshwar temple in Hetauda Sub-metropolis-1 of Makwanpur district along the East-West Highway.

Ramesh Pandey, 60, of Thanabharyang, Hetauda Sub-metropolitan city-11, was killed after being hit by an LPG bullet (carrier truck) in the incident that took place last night, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Lakshmi Bhandari. Pandey, who was seriously injured in the incident, died on the way to hospital.
The police said that the driver has been taken into custody for necessary action.
