SURKHET, Sept 21: The CPN-Maoist formed a 106- member national volunteer bureau under the leadership of Padam Bahadur Thapa in Surkhet on Friday. The bureau also includes former members of the Young Communist League.

Speaking at a function organized to announce formation of the bureau, district secretary of the party Thammar Bista YCL had to be reformed due to the revisionist nature of the wing. [break]

The newly formed bureau has Thapa as district in-charge and Mukti Dhamala as president, according to Bista. Addressing the function, Bista claimed that the bureau would not earn disrepute like the YCL.

Bureau coordinator of Bheri-Karnali state committee Krishna Raj BK urged the youths to defend the country from foreign interference.
