BIRATNAGAR, Sept 7: COVID-19 death toll is rising sharply in Province 1 with one more death reported in Morang district on Monday.
As many as 43 individuals have already succumbed to the COVID-19 in the Province as of Monday morning.

In the latest death case, an elderly COVID-19 patient undergoing treatment at Koshi Hospital in Biratnagar died on Monday morning.
The deceased is a 76-year-old man from Biratnagar Metropolitan City-10, according to Medical Superintendent of the Hospital Dr Chumanlal Das. “The old man was staying at home isolation and was admitted to the hospital on Saturday,” said Dr Das.
A total of 15 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in Biratnagar in Morang district so far. The number of people dying of COVID-19 in the Province has reached 43.
