Children receive 40 ‘Wheelchairs of Hope’

Forty child-sized wheelchairs, 'Wheelchairs of Hope', were distributed to children with disabilities by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, amidst a function organized collaboratively by the Lions Club of Kathmandu Capital District 325-A2 and Karuna Foundation Nepal on Tuesday.

The wheelchairs were distributed to celebrate 70 years of Israel’s independence, and 60 years of the establishment of MASHAV stated the press release issued by the embassy of Isreal. Benny Omer, Ambassador of Israel, stated that he was satisfied with the Embassy’s contribution to the humanitarian cause, and hoped that the beneficiaries would benefit from the specially designed wheelchairs.
