MAHENDRANAGAr, Dhanusha, June 30: Chief Minister of Province No. 2 Lalbabu Raut has announced to unveil provincial language policy in line with the honoring all mother languages spoken in the Province No. 2.
At a symposium organized by Language Commission here today, Minister Raut said the province would bring policy to respect all the mother languages and urged all not to harbor doubts about the priority to the language that is spoken by the large number of population.
"We remain rich from the use of mother tongue. The province government is committed to developing the Maithili and Bhojpuri languages," Raut added.
Gurung and Magar languages to be made official languages
On the occasion, Chairman of Language Commission Dr Lavadev Awasthi, Social Development Minister of the Province No. 2 Nawalkishore Sah, Vice Chancellor of Rajarshi Janak University Prof Bharat Jha, politicians Ramsaroj Yadav and Ramchandra Mandal and also others expressed their opinions.
