KATHMANDU, July 16: The municipal assembly of Chandragiri Municipality has approved a total budget of Rs 2.934 billion for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2025/26 by a majority.
The 16th session of the municipal assembly brought the budget with current expenditure of Rs 1.2278 billion and a capital expenditure of Rs 1.7068 billion.

The municipality's spokesperson Krishna Prasad Khadgi presented the budget and programmes in the municipal assembly on Wednesday.
Mayor Ghanshyam Giri said that the budget and programmes for the FY 2025/26 have been approved by a majority, expressing confidence that the budget will address the demands of the residents.
