Krishna Hari Puskar, spokesperson of the CIAA, said that the anti-graft body started investigation against Gyewali after the body received numerous complaints alleging him of professional misconducts as CEO of the NRA.He said that Gyewali has been accused of working illegitimately in collusion with NGOs and INGOs to serve their interests. "He has also been accused of not expediting the task of reconstruction and rehabilitation and engaged in seeking benefits rather than fulfilling his duties responsibly," he said.
Puskar said that the CIAA is also investigating against Gyewali for his alleged involvement in irregularities while serving as the executive director of Town Development Fund.
