KATHMANDU, Dec 16: Voting to elect the leadership of the CPN-UML’s 11th General Convention will begin today at 1 pm. Bhrikutimandap has witnessed heightened activity as candidates and their supporters are seen seeking votes from convention delegates.

Candidate registration has been completed, and the final list has been made public. Party Chair KP Sharma Oli and Ishwar Pokhrel are contesting the chairperson’s post, while Shankar Pokhrel and Surendra Pandey are vying for the general secretary position.
A total of 2,263 delegates are eligible to cast their votes.
