KATHMANDU, Jan 23: The schedule of the Women’s T20I Triangular Series between the women’s teams of Nepal, Netherlands and Thailand has been changed. The series is scheduled to kick off from January 30.
Issuing a press statement on Thursday, the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has released a new schedule of matches. The series was scheduled to take place from January 30 to February 7, but the specific match days have been changed. All the matches of the series will be held at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.
Nepal to face Hong Kong in triangular T20I series today
The participating teams in the series will play against each other three times. In the opening match, the host team Nepal will compete against the Netherlands. In other matches, Nepal will play against Thailand on February 1, against the Netherlands on February 2, against Thailand on February 4, against the Netherlands on February 5, and again against Thailand on February 7.
The team that tops the points table will be the winner. This is the second T20I series that the national women’s team will play at home. Earlier, Nepal had played a 5-match series against Uganda at home in May 2022.
