Max Media turns good samaritan
KATHMANDU: Max Media, under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) campaign, recently provided books, stationeries and food commodities to the orphans at Gaurishanker Balmandir in Charikot, Dolakha. According to the statement, Max Media also provided food commodities sufficient for around 4 months. Rakesh Shrestha, secretary of the orphanage, received the assistance on behalf of the orphanage, Max Media said in a statement on Monday. There are 17 children in the orphanage, added the statement.

KATHMANDU: Commerz and Trust Bank has opened ATM kiosk in Baireni of Dhading district. The ATM was brought into operation to extend banking facility to locals and people travelling on Prithivi Highway, says a bank statement. Meanwhile, the bank is soon launching an initial public offering to raise Rs 600 million. After the IPO, the bank´s paid-up capital will touch Rs 2 billion.
