"We are very excited with the huge turnout of student in the event which has been organized for the first time in Dharan," said Rai. He said most of the visitors acquired knowledge about latest innovation and development in information technology (IT) sector.
A total of 50 stalls showcased latest innovations in information technology and offered a discount of 15 to 20 percent on the purchase of goods. Major products showcased in the event were CCTV, digital album, laptop, printer, LCD TV, camera and mobile sets among others.
G´FIVE launches new mobile phones
KATHMANDU, Mar 8: Call Mobility Pvt Ltd, the sole authorized distributor of G´FIVE mobile phones in Nepal Monday launched two new models -- H92 and T550+.
The H92 is priced Rs 5,100, while T550+ can be taken home for Rs 5,550.
Issuing a press statement, Call Mobility said the new sets come with dual SIM slots (GSM+GSM). H92 comes with a large internal speaker. The phone supports T-flash card and music player.
According to the statement, the HD Camera of this phone enables users to capture both still photos and videos. The users can enjoy MP3/MP4/ and FM radio with its innovative large headphones.
T550+ is similar in features with H92. However, its headphone comes with unique YAMAHA sound effects, said the statement.
These sets come with one year warranty.
SME Trade Fair kicks off
KATHMANDU, Mar 8: Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal on Monday inaugurated International SMEs Meet Trade Fair 2010 organized by Women Entrepreneur Development Committee of Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce (FNCCI) on the occasion of 100th International Women´s Day.
The small and medium entrepreneurs (SME) of South Asian region have participated in the trade fair that has 120 stalls of different SMEs. The fair will run till March 11.
A total of 100,000 visitors are expected to visit the fair, according to the organizer.
