BUSINESS BRIEFS: Ashok Leyland launches Eagle range of buses

KATHMANDU, April 13: Infratech Pvt Ltd, the sole authorized distributor for Ashok Leyland vehicles in Nepal, has unveiled Eagle range of buses in Nepal.



This bus has the highest seating capacity of 30 to 36 seats, in the Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) segment, the company said in a statement. [break]



“It has a short turning circle diameter, which allows easy maneuverability on narrow city roads and hilly areas. This world-class design is specially built considering the maximum comfort of the passengers as well as the driver,” the statement added.



Infratech has offered a special promotional scheme for buyers making the first ten bookings. “This bus also gets top marks as a school bus as it comes packed with features that meet the needs of school children,” according to the statement.



The Eagle range offers the Ashok Leyland advantage of low maintenance, high reliability and long life, the company said.





New Year scheme on Mahindra scooters



KATHMANDU, April 13: Shrestha International Trading, the authorized agent for India´s Mahindra Two-wheelers, has announced ´Both Cash and Bike´ on the occasion of Nepali New Year.



Issuing a press statement on Tuesday, the company said consumers will get a card that can be scratched in two places with every purchase.



In the first scratch, buyers can get cash discount worth Rs 3,000 to a maximum of Rs 50,000, while in the second one, buyers can win a FLYTE-125 scooter, said the statement.



The scheme is available all over the country from April 12.
