As a fair gesture, the winners as well as the non winners were felicitated in the event for the same cause, said added the statement.
Hero Honda announces winners
KATHMANDU: Hero Honda has announced the winner of its New Year scheme ´Hero le Sadhai Jitcha Puraskar´. Mitha Ram Duraili from Hetauda, Padam Bahadur Thakuri from Pokhara and Birendra Sah from Chandranigahapur have been announced as the winners of first, second and third prizes respectively through a lucky draw, Syakar Company -- the authorized distributor of Hero Honda in Nepal -- said in a statement.
Duraili has won Philips goods worth Rs 100,000. Similarly, Thakuri and Shah have won Philips goods worth Rs 75,000 and Rs 50,000 respectively. The New Year scheme ended on July 15. The company sold around 8,000 units of bikes during the scheme period, according to the statement.
IME Centre in Banepa
KATHMANDU: International Money Express (IME) has inaugurated a new centre in Banepa, a press statement of the company said on Wednesday. The centre is Banepa is IME´s 28th branch in the country. “Inaugurating the centre, Chandra Prasad Dhakal, executive president of IME, said the company was expanding its centers in other places of the country in the near future. IME is planning to expand its remittance service through 100 centers in a year. The company is in operation from last 12 years and is providing service through its 2,000 agents and sub-agents, according to the statement.
H&B Dev Bank opens branch in Kapan
KATHMANDU: As a part of expanding its service, H&B Development Bank on Wednesday opened a new branch office in Kapan. Jasoda Sainju, CEO of the bank, inaugurated the new branch office, the bank said in a statement. Before this branch, the bank was operating with a network of five branches in the valley and 21 branch offices outside the valley. “We are planning to open one more branch office in the valley and two outside the valley in the near future,” the statement said. The bank mobilized deposits worth Rs 7.2 billion and extended loans worth Rs 5.71 billion in fiscal year 2011/12, according to the statement.
