Bus-hit claims 1 in Chitwan

CHITWAN, Dec. 26: A person died after a vehicle hit him at Laxminarayan Chowk of Rapti Municipality along the East-West Highway in eastern Chitwan Friday night. Number plate of the vehicle is not confirmed yet, police said.

The Area Police Office, Bhandara, said that 35-year-old Gyan Bahadur Lama of ward no. 5 of the same municipality died on his way to hospital after the incident.

Police Inspector Mahendra Bahadur Thapa said that Lama, who landed in Rapti Municipality at midnight from Kathmandu, was hit by the vehicle while crossing the road making him critically injured. RSS
