DAMAK, Oct 29: A passenger bus met with an accident last night near Pangini Chowk in Damak Municipality-2, killing one person and injuring 21 others.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Khagendra Bahadur Khadka of the District Police Office, the bus, number Ba 2 Kha 1983, was traveling from Damak to Tandi in Morang when the accident occurred. There were 35 people on board. Among the injured, one person remains in serious condition, while the other 20 have returned home after treatment.
Police have taken the bus driver, 39-year-old Bhaktbahadur Darji from Miklajung-3, Morang, into custody.
